Thanks to OPMAATZAGEN.nl, Eveline was able to have the wood cut precisely to size, guaranteeing the perfect fit of the cabinet. The final result is finished in the color Courtly Rose by Pure Origin, excellently mixed in satin paint from Drost Coatings, creating a warm and inviting appearance.

Tips from Eveline

We wanted a shelving unit with two depths and, in consultation with the service desk, ordered two separate cabinets. However, we didn't want a visible double shelf (where the two sections meet). The bottom panel of the upper cabinet could then serve as a template for the drill holes on the top of the lower cabinet. However, we were worried that we wouldn't drill precisely enough, so we simply placed the upper cabinet loosely on top of the lower one. We therefore assembled the upper cabinet separately from the lower one and, after painting, lifted it onto the top with four people (it was heavy!). But for us, it was the perfect solution. Keep this in mind when measuring the height of your cabinet, because you ultimately leave out the bottom shelf. Painting such a large cabinet is a lot of work, so we were very happy that we had chosen pre-primed MDF as the base.
