Alongside an existing cinewall for the television and fireplace, Simon designed two custom cabinets himself. The overall result is a sleek and beautiful wall. Sufficient storage space has been created, and by opting for push-to-open doors, there is also the possibility to store items out of sight. The black quarter-sawn oak provides a beautiful and luxurious appearance.

How I Completed This Project

We first made several sketches and played with the dimensions and shapes until we achieved the desired result. Then, we drew the sketch to scale. We had a few questions answered via chat and then ordered our cabinets via the website. After the customer service check, we received a final drawing that we approved. A few weeks later, we received the ordered parts, and we easily assembled them together. The cabinets were straightforward; we could simply slide the shelves. Only at the end did we secure them with screws in the corners for reinforcement.
