Using custom-cut wood from OPMAATZAGEN.nl, Lars was able to determine every centimeter himself, allowing him to create a cabinet of varying depths. The cabinet fits perfectly into the wall niche, giving it an integrated look.

Tips from Lars

Think in advance about the placement of all large items (TV, amplifier, speakers). Before you start assembling, also make a plan for the cables so you can hide them neatly. We created a cabinet with staggered depth by ordering two cabinets and transferring the holes from the second base plate to the top of the lower cabinet (clamp and then drill through). We installed the spotlights and routed the cabling before mounting. No wall is perfectly square and level. We therefore made the cabinet slightly smaller than the niche.
