Description by Patrick
A LEGO table spanning the width of a child’s room, where our son can build and play freely. The table is supported by 2 cabinets where toys can also be stored. This is convenient as toys can be easily and quickly added or put away. Finally, a storage cabinet has been mounted above the table to keep LEGO pieces. The handy drawers allow for storing various blocks. The lamp completes the setup, allowing play even in the dark.
How I made this project
The nicely finished pine board we received from OPMAATZAGEN.nl was used as a play table in a child’s room. We attached the board to 2 support beams at the back. These beams are not visible and are mounted at both corners underneath the table. At the front, the table is supported on both sides by 2 cabinets. The table is also secured here to prevent shifting. We completed the project by mounting a cabinet above the table and a lamp on the side. This way, the play table can be enjoyed even during the winter months.
Dimensions of my DIY project
